I searched something about Edward Gibbon in czech or slovak language, but I wasn´t successful, because everything that I found was in english and also it was in UK. Nothing in Slovak or Czech republic. So I want know if biography or small article about this historian is available in slovak or czech language.

Slovak or czech forum does not exist so this is my last opportunity.

Thank you very much for your answers.

This is, unfortunately for your search, an English-language site. There are a number of regular contributors from Europe, who will not be burdened with the unilingual curse so common in North America, but you will need to find a way to attract their attention. – Pieter Geerkens Dec 22 '13 at 20:52

Dear @Moniko, are you familiar at least with the Czech Wikipedia page on him? cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Gibbon Also, his book on the Fall of the Roman Empire was published in Czech as GIBBON, Edward. Úpadek a pád římské říše: výbor. Příprava vydání Jiří Klabouch, Vladimír Vavřínek; překlad Adolf Felix. 1. vyd. Praha : Odeon, 1983. 404 s. It's easier now to buy the Slovak translation: heureka.cz/?h[fraze]=Edward+Gibbon heureka.sk/?h[fraze]=Edward+Gibbon – Luboš Motl May 4 at 17:36
