Is it true that the Pilgrims upon coming to America,wanted to make Hebrew the spoken language as they intended to make it "the language"? (for example the Princeton emblem has Hebrew text)?

Please add more detail on this, who is "they" and in what context to the discovery of the Americas are you referring to? The question as framed is extremely vague in what you are looking for. Then you can ask to have this reopened. – MichaelF Jan 8 '12 at 11:20
