I've been working on an MMOSG game and wanted your opinions about which were the most economic and militarily powerful civilizations in history.

I would vote to close unless you can qualify how you measure economic and military power. Just as an example, economic power is measured differently under mercantilism than under modern capitalism, and differently once again in the communist world. There is no commonly accepted standard. Likewise, there is no mechanism to compare the weakest modern air force against the most modern 14th century cavalry. –  Mark C. Wallace Feb 5 '13 at 17:15

tbh, although Chinese and Arab dominated Europeans ones for much of history and it would be historically accurate to concentrate on them. Is that what people playing your game want? Not that I'm endorsing deliberate historical inaccuracy... –  Nathan Cooper Feb 5 '13 at 16:54
