Nescire autem quid ante quam natus sis acciderit, id est semper esse puerum. Quid enim est aetas hominis, nisi ea memoria rerum veterum cum superiorum aetate contexitur? -- Cicero, Marcus Tullius (106-43BC)

This surprises me. Can you provide references on your claim that Japanese metallurgy was better than medieval and pre-medieval European?

comment Can the historical records in the Bible be considered as accurate/factual records?
@fdb: I fail to see how "Jerusalem is a city" is not a historical fact and how "Jerusalem is under Roman occupation" is not a historical event. They might be trivial but that's beside the point. ^_~

@fdb: Just one example, Jerusalem was a real city under Roman rule around 30 AD.

+1. I was expecting to close this question based on the title that reads a little like a conspiracy theory of a lost treasure. However, I am pleasantly surprised by a great question! Well done sir.

comment How did the human capacity to manipulate the physical and social world change in Europe between 1400 to 1700?
This question appears to be off-topic because it is about fictional history, is too broad even in a fictional history setting, and cannot be answered with even a modicum of objectivity.

I have edited your question heavily to try to to first make it make sense in English, second to remove inaccuracies and inflammatory comments, and lastly to narrow it down a little. If I have changed the meaning of your question, please let me know.

Vincent Cornin, David Chandlers, and Georges Lefebvre should give you a good start.

comment How was Napoleon considered as a ruler?
As for king to emperor. It did not happen like that. It went from an absolute monarchy, to a parliamentarian monarchy, to a parliamentarian dictatorship, to a personal dictatorship, to a mess, then finally, to an Empire. And even that is an over simplification. ^_~

I voted to close because the question is way, way, way too board. I can think of a dozen or so books that have covered the issue.

@Odysseus: Cavalry is used as a "point at target and charge". What makes horses superior to elephants is that they are easier to keep under control -- just like my answers states. Elephants were mostly used as a fear weapon those deployment was closest to cavalry.

Welcome to the site. This is a nice question but is a little over broad. Which time period are you talking about and which theatres of war?

@LennartRegebro: Possibly, however as this images shows, some falconer still use the left hand for the bird and the right hand for the horse.
