comment Has a state ever “attacked” another one by printing fake money?
@T.E.D. I also don't want to promote Wikipedia by quoting it, as it is full of biased statements and shouldn't be considered as reliable source.

@T.E.D. I suppose you can find mention of that in pretty much every modern book about Prussia's or Polish history or Frederick's biographies. I don't know why Wikipedia used that particular books as sources as they are quite general. I see no reason to promote them out of a multitude of possiblities.

comment What factors led some South American governments to be sympathetic to Nazi war criminals?
How many Jews and Eastern Europeans did those governments allowed in around that time? (Would that make them sympathetic to Nazi victims?)

comment No speed limit on German highways - why?
How much would it cost the society to actually implement the speed limit: setup monitors, process violations etc.? Just because the idea of no limit has industrial lobbysts doesn't mean that it's wrong.

comment Did the Founding Fathers of the USA really make a distinction between a Republic and a Democracy (and despised the latter)?
@DVK I ask whether such a slogan was likely to be heard in a public speech in 1920 in the USA. And the purpose of that question is to trace the moment of the change of perception of "Democracy" in popular american culture. Would that question make more sense if I deleted the information that such a slogan was present in a made up show about 1920s?

I provided definitions and I ask whether founding fathers shared them. So this question couldn't be more straightforward. I do not bother with other definitions. We could close all other questions based on the fact that someone might disagree on the definition of some word - I see no reason to single out the definitions of Democracy and Republic.
