comment What is the relevance of the Confession of Augsburg to the Colloquy at Poissy?
he declared his own "Confutation" to be sufficient: "...the official response known as the Pontifical Confutation of the Augsburg Confession was produced to the Diet, though the document was so poorly prepared that the document was never published for widespread distribution, nor presented to the Lutherans at the Diet. However, in September, Charles V declared the response to be sufficient..."

comment What is the relevance of the Confession of Augsburg to the Colloquy at Poissy?
According to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confession_of_Augsburg, Karl V responded to the Augsburg Confession by the "Pontifical Confutation of the Augsburg Confession" and "gave the Lutheran princes until April 15, 1531, to respond to the demands of the Confutation", so it doesn't seem he "agreed to disagree".

comment What was the reason for inflation in Britain after the Black Death?
It's not clear to me why the nobles were relatively worse off (although it is possible). Also, it's not entirely clearly why the relative situation is important

OK, but I want more factual details. Who was behind the declaration? Which enemies they were afraid of? etc.

comment What were the acceptance criteria in universities of medieval Europe?
I didn't understand "The admissions criteria and payments were set by the respective sponsors". Doesn't the university determine its own admission criteria?

comment Which 11 countries were democratic in 1941?
This index is pretty absurd though, for example Greece, France, Italy, Israel, Slovakia, Poland, India, Hungary are "flawed democracies"

comment What was the reason for inflation in Britain after the Black Death?
@Noldorin: Demand is by definition the number of labourers hired at a given price. This can only decrease since there are less consumbers. This quantity doesn't depend on the number of labourers

comment What was the reason for inflation in Britain after the Black Death?
@Lev: so the landowners paid more for the labourers to work harder (cultivate more land / labourer), but they also ripped more benefits (more land / landowner)

Nominal inflation makes sense, but I still don't understand why the nobles were complaining. Since there were less nobles, each of them had more land and more money, which should completely offset the other effect.

Interesting theory. Is it original? If not, can you provide references?

comment Why did non-monarchic rule meet with so little success in ancient China?
Good answer, though I think there's also place to mention the role of traditional Chinese religion and Taoism, in particular the parallel between the bureaucratic hierarchy of the empire and the celestial bureaucracy of the gods

comment Why did Huldrych Zwingli and Martin Luther stand for clerical marriage?
These are good points but I'm still not sure whether these guys invented clerical marriage or just defended something already existing at the time

comment What was the foreign policy of 1791 France?
"I am specifically looking for arguments during the constitutional convention during the National Assembly during 1971 of France's foreign policy ideals." You mean you're referring to the Nation Assembly, National Constituent Assembly and Legislative Assembly periods?

Marie Antoinette wasn't deposed yet. The questions is about the period before the National Convention

comment Why was the Håndfæstning forced on Erik V of Denmark?
OK, but in England the Magna Carta resulted in the First Barons' War. Was there something similar in Denmark? Also, in England we now the leader of the rebellion was Robert Fitzwalter and much is known about his life. Do we have similar information in this case?
