Natural born citizen I get the "two parents" thing from the "not subject to a foreign power" phrase in the Civil Rights Act of 1866 (applies to the citizenship of either parent), and the "all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens" from the Minor V Happersett case (self explanatory), as stated above. |
