What other war crimes trials besides Nuremberg were held after WWII? Thanks you Sir. This is the first time I heard of the Tokyo trials. Most of the documentaries I watched were all about Nuremberg. |

What happened to the Imperial Byzantine Family after the collapse of the empire? As a ruling dynasty (nobility) not as a family |

Have there been any efforts by the countries of Europe to restore their monarchies? My impression is that many countries tried to restore back in many ways of life before the communist rule (language, religion, arts, national identity). The monarchies were of that past and they were deposed by the communists so that they would have served as an icon of restoration. After all, they all assume ceremonial parts. |

What happened to the Imperial Byzantine Family after the collapse of the empire? So I understand that the family is now extinct. But I just read in Wikipedia that the family was dissolved in 1678, like 200 years from the fall of Constantinople. They have become merchants and farmers though not nobility anymore. Interestingly, It also says that Queen Anne of Romania (b.1929) is of byzantine imperial family descent through the Arenbergs. Do not know if anyone could verify that. |

How were the British and French Mandates in the Levantine area involved in WWII? Interesting. Thanks. Yet it seems that except for Iraq and Egypt, the other countries were only theater of war between allied and axis forces. That no Arabs were directly involved in the fighting, right? |
