comment How and why did Polish rule over the Ukraine “downwardly deviate” from Lithuanian rule?
@LennartRegebro it's often difficult to give exact pages (or even chapters) for the English version of the book if you own it in another language edition.

comment What is the origin of the American stereotype that Polish people lack intelligence?
@Anixx I'd argue that the origins of the stereotype for USA and for the neighboring countries are totally different. It's a common thing to think of your neighbors like that, not only in the history of nations, but in all history of society - how many people think "I'm smarter than my neighbor and my cat is smarter than his dog".

comment What is the origin of the American stereotype that Polish people lack intelligence?
As much as I'm unfortunately late for the party, I want to express my gratitude for asking this question. It resulted in answers on a matter that I as a Pole was also curious about. From time to time it's me who's asked by people of other nationalities - why does such a stereotype exist, and usually I just shrug my arms, not knowing what to answer (except for the obvious "they just needed somebody to play the role of the dumb one").

comment Why were there no Internment camps for German-American Citizens in USA during WW2?
Good job for pointing that out. I'd be happy to read your own answer to the question, specifying the problematic you mentioned, as I'm no expert on that matter.

comment Was Swedish king Charles X Gustav's horse killed during Siege of Kraków (1655)?
Now that I find truly amazing. Great piece of work you did on finding and providing these informations even after a year since the question was asked, you've got my big respect for that, even if the overall conclusion is that the story cited in question is most probably impossible to verify. Thanks!

@NewAlexandria which exact advice you mean? The first one, saying "the scope is too wide", that lead me to narrow the scope, or the second one, saying "the scope is too narrow", that would lead me to widen it once again?
