comment Was Vietnam war ever officially condemned in the US?
This was a police action in an allied(french) state. I condemn the french for being such pansies as to pull out after they sucked the US in... does that count? I also condemn LBJ for being so blind as not to see what was about to happen.

@BrienMalone - Carter was referring to the OPEC embargo when he said that though. And it is an important distiction I think that the debt was owed to its citizens in WWII, where today the debt is owed to other nations and the government itself.

comment What was the status of Arab Christians during the crusades?
If christians were slaughtered along with muslims then i would say that the crusades also directly contributed to the the decline of Christianity in the middle east.
