@SchwitJanwityanujit: That's where option 3 kicks in - regardless of Hitler, Germany had to recover the costs of their war somehow. Giving Ukraine, White Russia etc. independence without getting anything in return just wasn't an option. Besides, German superiority was at the core of the prevalent ideology in Germany at that time, Hitler or not.
