@fdb well Stalin has been accused only of genocide of Ukrainians through the famine and this is covered in the answer. Definitely the famine was not intentional and not welcomed by Stalin (as show the Stalin's correspondence) and affected not only Ukraine. There were also deportations of certain ethnic groups (Crinmean Tatars, Chechens) under Stalin during the war but there is no evidence that these deportations were accompanied with exceptional death rates or were intended as genocides.

comment Is there any footage and/or photos of Germans surrendering towns and cities in the Western Front?
My question was NOT about signing. It was about surrender ceremonies themselves.

comment Was Hitler hostile to anglo-saxons before he became hostile to Jews?
Of Western POWs overall perished about 3%. Of Jewish Western POWs perished about 1/5. Of Soviet POWs overall perished about 60% and I think nearly all Jews.

comment Was Hitler hostile to anglo-saxons before he became hostile to Jews?
Actually he did not directly kill the Jews who were POWs from the Western (Anglo-American) countries. Most of them survived the war. Though the Nazis separated them from other POWs and assigned harder work. Still percent of Western Jewish POWs who died is much smaller than the percent of non-Jewish Soviet POWs.

comment Why did people in the USSR participate in elections?
"It would instantly be known" - to whom? Electoral comission? Certainly. KGB? Possibly... and what exactly consequences? Open reprimation on the work for not participating is excluded. Or do u have any example?
