When did songs extolling leaders of companies go out of fashion? When coleopterist mentioned company songs, it just brought back the memory of a company called Aflack or something like that. Anyway, they were giving away toys that sang their song. Unfortunately, the sound quality wasn't very good and Aflack turned into Af***. :) |

Adding the sources would only take several minutes of research, and you could probably ask your teacher for help. If you did, I'm sure you'd receive more up-votes. |

Why China was able to unify and not Europe @JimThio, Although the point you brought up is a good and interesting point, it doesn't really answer the original question asked, and more answers why China was able to expand to the size that it did expand to. However, the stance that you've taken is slightly simplistic; China has mountains to the south and to the west. On the east, there is a large ocean, and to the north, at the time, there were nomadic peoples who often raided China. Perhaps you could ask another question, why did China expand to the extend that it did, and use this answer to answer it. |

Was the Bosnian Crisis the trigger to WWI and not the assassination? @Person, For an in depth analysis, I'd suggest you read way before 1914 or even 1900. To even comprehend the alliances and the politics of the day, you need read European History from about 1600 up until WW1. I found the book "Rise and Fall of the British Empire" by Lawrence James to be very good. It gave a a through understanding of the times around 1900. I'd summarize it, but the book was several hundred pages long, and only briefly touched on all topics, so was almost a summary in it's self. But, after exams, I'll give it a try. |
