@Dagvadorj you should post an answer to this question. You seem to know a lot more than I do. I have resorted to googling stuff. I thought that the purpose of this site was to answer questions google can't, but apparently I'm wrong. All people want is a free secretary to prepare a nice google-searched presentation for 'em. If I hadn't found such a pretty map I wouldn't even have bothered editing my answer. It delighted me.

@Noldorin The British did conquer Quebec City. If by "general weakening" you mean the French couldn't send more troops after that, then I see your point.
