Why did the USA take no action to help Pakistan during their 1971 war against India? Then, Pakistan was not an ally of USA. The USA just pretended to be an ally. Alliance doesn't exist on the basis of such conditions. The alliance between Soviet Union and India was not like that and was a true alliance. Pakistan should have understood this fact and should have left the US block.
Military intervention in government in India and Pakistan I just failed to figure out what this answer came up with to get acceptance..."The President of the Republic of India is the supreme commander of the armed forces and the three arms --land, air, and naval are independent of each other."...What is the difference with Pakistan in this case?
