I believe the actual end of the Western Roman Empire was 476 AD perhaps I should change the date to 330 AD to match the founding of Constantinople. Thank you for kindly bringing this to my attention. Though I agree with your answer it seems the OP is asking for later examples of democracy that were present in India when British colonization began? His question states that he found an example of a democracy, but "600 BC - hardly counts as pre-British." |
