I love Jesus, classical music, history, and Italian food, in that order. I also enjoy studying math.

I've been playing music for about five years now and I am proficient on the cornet and the recorder. I also play a little piano on the side.

comment What impact did the Seven Years War have on the American Revolution?
This is gonna be one long answer. A big part of it was that the Seven years war drained a good part of England's treasury, which led the English to increase taxes to pay for new wars, which was the straw that broke the camel's back. The American colonies declared independence and the rest is history.

comment Why did Britain object to the Ottomans bringing its ships-of-the-line against Russia in the beginning of the Crimean War?
@FelixGoldberg Well, just barging into a war with no good reason besides spoils isn't good for foreign PR.

This isn't a complete answer, but Britain wanted an excuse to enter the war.
