iI think the constitution probably allows secession. theThe declaration clearly says when it becomes necessary - 'break bands and 'theythey should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.'

onceOnce you have that out of the way 'it, 'it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.....'

i cantI can't see why the fellas who came up with this stuff would feel so differently about secession. unlessUnless they really thought their batter was better than everyone elseselse's, ever.
