The man in the centre with the medals and the moustache is my great great grandfather. Ive been trying to figure out what Medals he's been wearing, I know he have 4 crosses of st George on the left of his chest (I think) But the other medals are a bit of a question mark. Can anyone identify the medals? The picture was taken in 1906, and I believe he fought in the Russo-japanese war a little while back. He was also a Ural cossack.

Any possibility of getting a higher resolution closeup of the medals. It's hard to make out any distinguishing features from this image. – Pieter Geerkens Sep 7 '19 at 0:13

Four on the left definitely look like 4 crosses of St George, but all four of them would mean that your grandfather was Full Cavalier of Saint George (all four classes) . Medals on the right with the effigy of monarch could be from this list : ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/… – rs.29 Sep 7 '19 at 19:17
