I came across Fox News and Huffington Post articles claiming to be reporting on an Associated Press report claiming that America has spent $1 trillion on the war on drugs. Based on the following section contained in the Huffington article, it would seem like the original AP report was linked, but that link now leads to the Fox article already mentioned:
Seriously, if you care at all about drug policy and marijuana law reform, you really must read the entire AP analysis. It's that good.
Can anyone find the original AP analysis? It would have come out in 2010.
Update: I searched Newspapers.com for this story, and it would appear that the AP published a series articles on the issue starting May 14th of 2010.
