- history of describing world,
- other related sciences, like geology, climatology, oceanography, etc.
- history of meteorology and other methods of predicting weather,
- history of navigation, including modern satellite systems like GPS (in some cases tag astronomy would be more appropriate),
- relations between people, ethnic, cultural, religious or other differences related to specific terrain, for example extent of reformation in Europe,
- people related to geography.
Questions related to space, Solar System or the Universe should be tagged with astronomy.
For questions related to discovering new lands, tag age-of-discovery could be more appropriate.
For cartography (map-making) use tag maps.
For questions related to land, sea or air communication roads consider using the tag transportation.
