May 17, 2016 at 11:17 comment added MCW The Odessa File is a work of fiction, not a work of history. It is a thriller, written by a journalist. The question is still valid, but part of historiography is analyzing the source material for potential bias. There is no presumption that the assertions presented in the novel serve any purpose other than to entertain and to activate the reader's atavistic impulses.
