Jun 12, 2018 at 23:05 comment added Lars Bosteen @colmde Yes, it does back that theory but as the article doesn't cite anyone at the time saying that, I think the indiatimes article's statement "Nowhere in any of the discussions at the time was the barefoot issue" is pertinent. That said, the All India Football Federation's decision was taken behind closed doors so who knows what was said? I doubt we'll ever know for sure.
