It's interesting that an article in the Daily Alta California on 10 April 1875 states that students would "resume their studies on Wednesday, April 14th at Brayton Hall Oakland" and notes the intention of the trustees to re-build the college. I'm not sure how that equates with the college address at 119, Haight Street, San Francisco in 1883 though.

In fact, the existence of the college at Haight Street in 1883 did make me wonder if the University Mount College (which was destroyed in a fire in April 1975 & subsequently re-built) might have been a separate institution.
