Jul 7, 2020 at 13:30 comment added K-HB @curiousdannii The Corpus iuris civilis was cited with the beginnings of the titles and paragraphs in the Middle Ages (today with numbers). Todays chapters of the bible were introduced by Stephen Langton (ca. 1150-1228) replacing older systems.
