The very good light tanks vz. 38 were not ready yet. The B534 biplane fighters were obsolete and too lightly armed, comparable only with old German Heinkels. The army was not prepared for mobile warfare, only to protect static defence lines with fortifications that were not completed.

There are many historians in Poland who believe that if Poland did anything to stop Germans from taking over Czechoslovakia, things would be much different. But instead of acting, Poland took the opportunity to grab some arguable land too.
